Object Obsolete - exhibition identity & catalogue
(I haven't shown any of my own work for a while!) This is a uni project from second semester of 2011.
Identity and catalogue design for a fictional exhibition called, Object Obsolete. The exhibition explores objects and processes related to the design industry.
The hand printed typography on the cover design references printing technologies, such as screen printing, lino printing, etc., which are now mostly obsolete practices for designers.
The shorter text pages create an interesting flow through the publication, allowing for the following page to be 'previewed.'
The body pages were black & white laser printed and french folded.
I perfect-bound the publication by hand, and hand printed the cover, using a Print Gocco.
